Last Wednesday night, reacting as if she'd was having a mild stoke or an attack of truth, revealing that she was out of her league, Arizona Republican Governor Jan Brewer went into an instant thought freeze at the first and only debate that she will have with her Democratic opponent. Today, Friday, she announced she will have no more debates. No more debates, period.

Ms. Brewer's debating performance was so disastrous that some questioned if she is a second rate, unqualified person. Her refusal to participate in further debates causes many to wonder if she is afraid to debate. And if she is a thought challenged, gutless politician? Or does she suffer from a mental disorder? During the debate, Ms. Brewer stopped speaking, looked downward at the table for several seconds, and began to giggle.

Now Ms. Brewer is saying that the only reason why she agreed to the first debate with her Democratic challenger ,Terry Goddard, was so that she could quality for $1.7 million in public-campaign funds. With that done, she's done. That is some explanation.
