Ben Quayle, the truth challenged guy, former lite porn writer, the son of one of the most lightweights among veeps ever, won his Republican primary for a House seat in Arizona. In a crowded field, reports the Associated Press, Quayle won by five percentage points. Quayle had the money, the name recognition and the drama.

Reports AP --"Campaigning as a family-values conservative, Quayle first denied then admitted that he wrote for a sex-steeped Arizona website. Among the quotes on the site attributed to him: "My moral compass is so broken I can barely find the parking lot. Quayle also sent out a campaign mailer promoting his family values that flopped when it was revealed two little girls in the ad weren't his children. He and his wife do not have kids."

Well; Arizona Republicans gave Quayle the nod; makes you wonder what kind of competition did he face.
