Sen. Lisa Murkowski has conceded the Alaska Republican Primary for U.S.Senate to Joe Miller, who received large money from the Tea Party Express.

Mr Miller's campaign received the beefits of $600,000 "spent by the California-based Tea Party Express," reports the Miami Hearld. "The Tea Party Group became interested in Miller after former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin endorsed him."

Yes, that Tea Party Express, founded by the bigot Mark Williams, that Tea Party Express that rolled over GOP establishment candidates in Nevada, Utah, Kentucky, and produced Rand Paul, Sharron Angle, has now given political birth to Joe Miller. Paul, Angle and Miller, children of that Express, which is rolling over the Republican Party and hopes to roll over America.

The political wags are saying Mr. Miller's besting of Ms. Murkowski shocked the GOP political establishment in Alaska. What he did or rather the Tea Party Express did in his name was to take a play from the old GOP playbook -- put red meat on the ballot to draw out the kooks. An abortion-related ballot measure was just the thing, to do the trick -- and Joe Miller's stance that he is against all abortions, period. Rape victims be damned! Pregnancies endangering the life of the mother? That's just tough! Joe Miller is the anti-abortion extreme kook's dream boy.
