California GOP gubernatorial candidate, the billionaire, and former eBay chief executive, Meg Whitman. has reportedly spent $140+ million of her own money to buy the governor's chair, and is still trailing the Democratic candidate Jerry Brown, whose campaigned released a video last week, comparing Ms. Whitman to the current California Governor, the moderate Republican, Arnold Schwarzenegger, a guy, who is not doing so well in the popular opinion polls on his job performance. Arnold Schwarzenegger was a likeable actor, a nice guy, who is out of his depth as a governor. Few would call Meg Whitman nice, but she seems out of her depth in politics. After seeing the Brown campaign video, I began to wonder. The question begs to be asked: What did she spend that money on? Arnold Schwarzenegger's media consultants? She repeated Arnold's words word-for-word.
According to the latest Los Angeles Times/USC, (the University of Southern California), poll Mr. Brown is leading the race by 52 percent to 39 percent lead among likely voters. Ms. Whitman has spent a lot of money on a vanity race.
