“Buck up, little camper. Your candidate lost. Big deal. I won and will continue to win because my fellows and gals represent real people. I don’t care if we win the general election because everybody knows that the primary is the most important- that’s why it’s called a primary, right? Get it? Primary=coming before all others in importance. It says so right here in my dictionary.”
(See the original HERE.)
That’s a rough translation of what Sarah Palin, political pundit to the brain-dead masses, said to Karl Rove after Christine O’Donnell won her senate primary on Tuesday and pretty much cost the Republicans a chance at a senate seat that had been considered safe up until that point.
Uh, oh. The Republicans should watch out when Sarah Palin gets out her thesaurus and starts throwing words around. Everyone knows that she is not only gifted with language, she is gifted at the delicate art of “fighting words.” Karl Rove, long considered the evil mastermind of the entire so-called “free world” is no match for someone like Sarah Palin. After all, Karl Rove’s brain isn’t even attached to his own head- rumor is that it’s still somewhere in Crawford, Texas, where it was lost in a brawl with some illegal immigrants, but that’s another story altogether.
Sarah Palin is now chanting for party unity- I’m not even sure that she knows what the term means- it’s probably not in her trusty thesaurus- maybe the term reminds her of her days where she was an undergrad at the esteemed University of Idaho. Party unity means a blood bath to the likes of Sarah Palin. Intelligent discourse is obviously not her strong point and like her supporters, she has yet to comprehend the consequences of her actions.
If Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, and others deluded by the Tea Party’s mission statement continue to rile up the masses, I predict that more third party candidates will take voters from the Republicans, which could result in a Nader-like situation not only in congressional elections, but across the political spectrum. The problem for Republicans is that some Americans take Sarah Palin very seriously as a potential candidate. I’m not saying that she is the stupidest woman on the face of the planet, but I feel much more comfortable having an elected official in the white house who is more intelligent than I am.
