Opening Up On Palin

Add Comment

Sarah 'the silly talking' Palin's "reload" comment, in defense of race-ranting-mouth Dr. Laura Schlessinger, has brought the guns on Sarah.

Dr Laura announced that she is quitting radio, because her sponsors announced that they are quitting her, because she ranted the 'n' word at an African-American lady caller, who unwisely phoned the quack shrink for advice. Sarah jumped into the boiling brew like the buffoon she is, with a high school girlish tweet.

" Dr.Laura:don't retreat ... reload! (Steps aside bc her 1st Amend.rights ceased 2exist thx 2activists trying 2silence"isn't American,not fair")• Dr.Laura=even more powerful & effective w/out the shackles, so watch out Constitutional obstructionists. And b thankful 4 her voice,America!

Sarah the dummy. Can't be that dumb, can she?

Democrats Need to Speak to Seniors

Add Comment

GOP's Paul RyanGOP's Paul RyanPolls are showing that senior citizens "are the most Republican-leaning age group." Why that it, I don't know. But I do know this: Seniors who depend on Social Security, Medicare, and on other programs, designed to help the elderly, if they vote Republican, they are doing so at their own peril.

Republicans and Tea Party leaders aim is to privatize Social Security as soon as they achieved enough votes in Congress to do so. This is no secret. Tea Party leader and movement founder Dick Armey has made this clear in a recent public statement. GOP House leaders; such as Paul Ryan, the ranking Republican on the House Budget have promised to do this at the first opportunity.

Boycotting Target

Add Comment

Folks concerned about the Supreme Court's notorious 5-4 decision, which makes it possible for corporations, foreign owned and controlled ones too, to buy, to purchase, to acquire politicians and political parties, wholesale, by giving them bribes, I mean, campaign contributions, have jumped on the "Boycott Target" bandwagon, as a way to send a strong message to corporations, that if they want to play the partisan political game, they had better be ready for the consequence, which could be a consumer boycott of their product.

The Target Corporation made a substantial cash contribution, $150,000, to a political PAC, which supports a right-wing, anti-gay rights, political candidate for Governor of the Target Corporation's headquarters state, Minnesota.

MoveOn.org has joined in the boycott of the Target Corporation and has placed a 'Boycott Target' ad on the Internet. See the video.

Palin's Picks Are Failin'

Add Comment

The fish are dying.

Yesterday, Washington Post had an interesting item "Primary losses blunt Palin's 'mama grizzly' claws." The Post, in so many words, pointed out that the former half-term Alaska governor, Ms. Sarah Palin's magic, jammed up from her celebrity status as a Fox News shriller, may not be magic at all, but the kiss of death, as more folks discover how kooky Palin is.

Palin was no help to Karen Handel, who lost in the Georgia Republican gubernatorial run-off, though she led in the first round. And an attendance by Palin at Handel pre-runoff rally failed the candidate.

Roger Clemens: A Bum or a bum rap?

Add Comment

In these United States, a man is 1000% innocent until his face appears in the media.

Roger Clemens, Mister Cy Young Awards recipient, with the all-time record of seven Cy Young Awards, when he was a player he was the premier Major League Baseball pitcher. He had a 24-year career. He was known as a fierce competitor with a blazing fastball, now after yesterday, following a six count indictment for lying to Congress on super-manning himself up, with illegal performance-enhancing drugs, the dude has gone from being Roger the great, the former Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jay, Houston Astro, New York Yankee dude, to Roger the pox, another ex-Bronx bum. The steroids scandal has shattered the statue of another one.

The fact that‎‎ Roger Clemens, who has lawyered up, may find a way through this is besides the point.

Bush Official and 911-Widower Says Obama Was Right On Mosque.

So much for those gas bags at the GOP, who are using the 9-11 tragedy as a wedge issue. Ted Olson, a Republican, a former U.S. solicitor general in the Bush Administration, and a 9-11 widower, who on 9-11 lost his wife, the late conservative author and activist Barbara Olson, a passenger on the plane that the terrorists smashed into the Pentagon, said the ground zero mosque issue should not be a partisan issue and that President Obama is right to support the right of American Muslims to build a mosque two blocks from New York's ground zero. Mr. Olson understands Americans First Amendment rights.

Says Mosque Comments 'Deplorable,' 'Sick Politics.'

Maybe some folks at the GOP got a wake up call and realized that Newt Gingrich is leading the party off a cliff and much of America with him. Joe Scarborough, a former GOP Congressman,  who is currently a cable talk show host, criticized Newt Gingrich, the GOP leader and former House Speaker for his "sick" and racist comments on the Islamic cultural center and mosque which are planned to be built two blocks away from New York's Ground Zero.

John McCain:Target Too Easy

John McCain is the flip-flopping champion of American politics, and he has become such an easy target for satire that it is ridiculous, because Mr. McCain has made himself ridiculous. The straight shooter has become the most crooked talking, fork tongue man in all of American political history. America has digital recordings of him talking to prove it.
